How to set up a new account

  1. Fill out the New Account form with your details. (Take care to add your email account correctly as you need to receive an email before using this site).
  2. An email will be immediately sent to your email address. If you don't see your email check the junkmail folder.
  3. Read your email, and click on the web link it contains.
  4. Your account will be confirmed and you will be logged in. Once logged in click on "Parents' VLE" or "home".
  5. Now you can take part in Polls, Make Forum Posts and Enrol in any course / areas that are available.

Welcome to VirtualGMS Parents' Edition

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide our pupils with the best possible service the school have set up a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called “VirtualGMS”. We have been so happy with how easy the VLE is to use we have decided to also use it to talk with parents and school partners. To get your own account on “VirtualGMS Parents’ Edition” please follow the instructions on the left.

If you have filled in the form but have not received your eMail; check your Junk Mail folder as the email sometimes gets mistakenly junked.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Webmaster by eMail.

UPDATE: I have noticed a few people have tried to set up accounts but have not used a valid eMail account and therefore can't complete the sign up. Please take care when typing your email address for the sign up form.

Welcome to VirtualGMS Parents' Edition.

As you may be aware we are currently creating online learning material to support our classroom-based teaching. Online learning areas like this are called, Virtual Learning Environments and ours is known as VirtualGMS.

We have set up this area using the same technology to allow us to interact with you, the parents of our pupils. Feel free to use the site as a guest or you can set up your own account at http://www.virtualgms.org/parents/login/index.php.

There isn’t much information on this area at present but as time passes you will find more and more useful information and details. The Parents' Edition of VirtualGMS also gives us the opportunity to get information and feedback from you, so please keep an eye out for questionnaires that will appear from time to time.
